Join us for this participant led workshop that will discuss the various roles of migrants within the Indigenous Rights Movement. From exploring the history of the American Indian Movement (AIM) and Standing Rock, as well as various land occupations; this exploration of solidarity is meant to both empower and remind, to enrage and push. With a militant and decolonial lens we will analyze our own placement in the power dynamics of settler colonialism, and ask ourselves how we can (and already are!) protecting the sacred.
